Passionate Cooks and Michelle Hughes

"Thank you so much for allowing me to visit your blog today.  I am so excited to be a part of Passionate Cooks! "

As a Southern Woman, I was taught to cook at an early age and food has always been a big part of our huge family gatherings.  I'm also a mother to five wonderful children, so there are those nights when I needed a quick family dinner and the recipe I've included, Steamy Stuffed Shrimp, was always one I could use when I didn't have the time I needed to prepare a full meal.  This dish is very simple, but at the same time filling.  It works well as an appetizer, and for game nights.

There are many great quick meals included in Passionate Cooks, and some incredible authors behind each recipe.  I hope you'll take the time to get to know all of them.  I'd like to talk a little more about my current project while I have your attention.  We released 10 Nights at the beginning of September and have been just been blown away by the response from readers.  Karl Jones, my co-author, has written several incredible thrillers, and I was very lucky to have him accept my offer to co-write our newest book.

In 10 Nights we follow recent college-graduate Leah on her journey of sexual discovery as she meets Rhett Hammond, Millionaire business executive.  He offers her ten nights of sexy fantasies and introduces her to a lifestyle that may challenge everything she believed herself capable of.  It's a steamy romance filled with drama and spicy love scenes.  I hope you'll take a moment to visit Amazon and pick it up.

What reviewers are saying about 10 Nights

"WOW!!! This makes Fifty Shades read like a Disney story! (Dawn)

OMG I couldn't put my kindle down. 10 nights IS what I imagine BDSM to be. And the end of the book I didn't want it to end.  (Kami)

"As much as I liked Fifty Shades, this story makes Christian and Ana's relationship seem almost....vanilla, if you will. Very intense, very gripping" (Nancy)

"Those ten nights were some of the most erotic situations I've ever read about and I admit I was shocked at how in-depth those scenes were." (Susan)

Author Comments:  10 Nights is a book that goes deeper down the rabbit hole, if you will, concerning the lifestyle of BDSM.  This book was written to garner strong emotional responses from the readers and there's very little sugar coating involved.  Rhett Hammond is the ultimate alpha male and his relationship with Leah is often overwhelming both physically and emotionally.  The premise was to take a completely uninitiated woman, not only in the lifestyle but in sexuality in general, and expose her to his world at a pace that will overwhelm her senses.

Rhett gives Leah a crash course in passion with ten nights of some of the most popular fantasies that women have.  With those nights is his Dominant nature that combines to make them some of the most memorable scenes.  Passion, drama, and erotic romance—it's not just a promotional statement, it's what 10 Nights encompasses.

  2. Thanks for the teaser (!). I love the cover of Ten Knights. And will look up your shrimp recipe in my hot-off-the-press copy of Passionate Cooks (I have a Fresh Fig and Fried Cheese salad in it that might go well). Meredith

  4. Hey Ms. Spencer! I have a HUGE fig tree in my yard, one of the biggest I've ever seen, so I will definitely be looking up your recipe! And thanks so much for the cover compliment. You may be my new best friend if you can tell me what to do with all these figs!
