Welcome Passionate Cook and Author Sabrina York

Jacque, thanks for having me!

I love the Fall. It makes me remember the delicious cinnamon rolls my mom would make on a chilly autumn morning. This was my contribution to the Passionate Cooks cookbook, available for free from All Romance eBooks. I adore the smell of bread baking, and the cinnamon and spices make my mouth water.

There’s nothing I love more than making up a batch to nibble on while I write. These Cinnamon Rolls are pretty steamy, and so are my stories!

My most recent release is an erotic Regency,
Folly, coming October 31st From Ellora's Cave

Widowed and threatened with penury by her heartless in-laws, Eleanor, Lady Ulster hatches a plot to save herself. Determined to produce the Ulster “heir,” she seduces a stranger at tawdry masquerade. Little does she know, this magnificent masked lover is none other than her husband’s greatest nemesis. And God knows, Ulster had plenty.

Ethan Pennington is mortified to arrive at the Earl of Darlington’s house party and discover Lady Ulster in attendance. He has wanted her and hated wanting her—his enemy’s bride—for years. When he overhears Eleanor’s predicament, and her plans to place a cuckoo in the Ulster nest, he is more than willing to oblige. The opportunity to finally have her, while taking the revenge he craves, is more than he can resist.

Ethan strikes a bargain with Eleanor, promising to provide her with the heir she so desperately needs…but requires she meet his needs in return—every decadent one of them. When he realizes she is the mysterious stranger who stole his heart on a moonlit night, thoughts of revenge melt away beneath the hope for something more. A fleeting affair becomes a seductive courtship, and then a desperate pursuit as Ethan realizes…he is running out of time to win her.

Welcome Passionate Author Ursula Whistler

My Passion Isn't For Cooking

by Ursula Whistler

A short while ago, All Romance eBooks put a call out for recipes—passionate ones. Instantly, I thought of the chargrilled oysters that I cook up for friends and family at our fish camp in Mississippi. But, I doubted myself. Were they good enough? Was it too corny to put oysters in a cookbook by romance authors? Would anyone ever attempt it?

Then the last one...Would this mean that I would have to become passionate about cooking turning my blog and website into a mix of food and sexy excerpts?

Um, no. It's not going to happen. My passion isn't really into cooking. It's writing. It's creating stories and characters. I'm still doing that. Yet, I am going to try as many recipes in the Passionate Cooks recipe book (It's free. Get it!) and write about it.

I'm also planning on having a hero in a later story chargrill some oysters for the heroine. She'll scoff at this overt use of an aphrodisiac and give him a hard time. A little later, she'll succumb to his advances, unable to resist his kisses and caresses. After, he'll joke that he should cook those oysters every night.

Thank you Ursula for stopping by my blog.  I wish you much writing success and keep writing those sexy stories.

Welcome Passionate Cook Anna Alexander

Anna Alexander

I’m “the cook” in the family. Not the only cook, but when it comes to holiday dinners, I’m the one up to my elbows in gravy and chopped vegetables. Last Christmas I spent three hours in the kitchen basting the ham, cooking the stuffing and roasting parsnips. That’s why I love desserts that are easy and can be made the day before.

A component of my Lip Lickin’ Lemon Tartlets found in the Passionate Cooks cookbook is the lemon curd. Five ingredients that can be cooked ahead of time and turned into many different desserts. One of my favorite dishes that uses lemon curd is trifle. A trifle is a layered dessert and when you make it in a glass dish, it’s beautiful as well.

The night before your special meal cut up an angel food or pound cake, homemade or store bought, and layer it in a glass dish with the lemon curd, whipped cream and fresh fruit. Want more flavor? Add Grand Marnier or vanilla extract to the whipped cream. Cover the dish and set it in the refrigerator overnight. That’s it!

Besides celebrating the release of the Passionate Cooks book, I am also rejoicing in the release of the latest installment in the Heroes of Saturn series, Hero Unleashed, from Ellora’s Cave. The heroine owns a restaurant and night club. If her chefs make lemon curd, I think she would be making a dessert of the more adult nature. Hmmm…that is a thought.

Blurb of Hero Unleashed
Princess Amaryllis should have been sad to be exiled from her home on the Saturn moon, but on Earth she finds freedoms she never imagined existed. She embraces her new home with big, open-mouthed kisses and establishes herself as a prominent business woman catering to the human’s most intimate desires.

When the former head of her father’s guard enters her domain, he not only rouses old insecurities but also a burning desire to see him lose the formal constraints and succumb to the promise in his command.

Lucian Kilsgaard was a warrior without a mission until he received word that an assassin had been sent to ensure the exiled princess does not return to reclaim the throne. He goes to warn the princess and instead of the unconfident, impulsive girl he remembers, he finds a bold temptress. How can he protect her when all he wants is to sink into her softness? He vows the line between protector and lover will never be crossed, yet Amaryllis will test his resolve until he takes exactly what he needs.

Author Bio
Anna Alexander’s literary world changed at age thirteen when a friend gave her Kathleen E. Woodiwiss’ A Rose in Winter. With her mind thoroughly blown, Anna decided that one day she too would become a romance novelist. With Hugh Jackman’s abs and Christopher Reeve’s blue eyes as inspiration, she loves spinning tales about superheroes finding love.

The Cloudy skies over her Pacific Northwest home give her plenty of opportunity to indulge in her passions, which are reading, writing and snuggling with a steaming cup of Irish coffee. Now if she could only find a hot Irishman to go with it, then life would be perfect. For more about Anna, you can find her at and purchase her book at:

Welcome Passionate Cook Ute Carbone

Ute Carbone

Over the past number of years, my husband has developed a passion for growing tomatoes. I can’t say I mind much, the end result is a crop of beautiful plums and big boys that we turn into marinara and bolognaise, with plenty left over for salads and sandwiches.

I love it when simple and delicious meet. Capri salad, the recipe I’ve included in Passionate Cooks, is the heart of simplicity—fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil with a bit of oil and vinegar. A big lot of scrumptious with a few ingredients.

The hero of my romantic comedy, The P-Town Queen, is a chef. No surprise there, I love a man who can cook!

Here’s a bit about the book—

Nikki Silva feels like she’s blown up her life even as her brothers tease her about blowing up a boat called the Mona Lisa. Divorced, funding for her shark research cut off, she’s moved back to Provincetown to live with her father in her childhood home. Nikki hopes to regain herself. She’s written a grant proposal for the newly formed Massachusetts Bay Commission to fund a study that will get her back to the sort of research she loves. The commission is run by her ex-husband Ned, who would rather have a migraine than give money to his ex-wife.

Marco Tornetti wants to turn a hole-in-the-wall Newark spaghetti joint into a trendy bistro. His silent partner, Fat Phil Lagosa, wants to use the place to meet questionable people for questionable business deals.  When Fat Phil accuses Marco of a double cross and has him taken for a ride by one of his hit men, Marco knows he’s in too deep.

Marco escapes the hit man and takes the first bus out of the Tri-state area, a bus chartered by the Greater Teaneck Gay Men’s Choir and headed for Provincetown. Marco  figures that Phil would never look for him in Provincetown‘s gay community. But when he meets Nikki and falls hard for her, he finds that pretending to be gay isn’t as easy as it would seem.

Welcome Passionate Cook Sharon Kleve

Sharon Kleve

Sharon Kleve was born and raised in Washington and currently lives on the Olympic Peninsula with her husband.

She loves romance. She loves reading romance, living romance, and especially loves writing about romance.

She gets no greater feeling than watching her characters come alive in each other's arms. Most of all, she loves giving her characters the happily ever after they deserve—with a few bumps and bruises along the way.

One of her favorite things to do is picking up a new book and sinking into the story, immersing herself in the emotions between the characters. She hopes to inspire her readers the same way her favorite authors have inspired her.

When not writing, she can usually be found either curled up in her recliner with her cat and a good book, or in the kitchen baking sourdough bread or bagels.

Don't forget to try her 'Lip Smacking Pork Roulade' from your copy of the Passionate Cooks Cookbook:

Author of "The Corny Myers Series"
Book One, Flamingo Blues, Published December 2011
Book Two, Be Mine, Published February 2012
Book Three, Klutzy Love, Published August 2012

Klutzy Love Blurb:

Corny is a hot chick with a great job that she loves. All that changed in the blink of an eye when her boss had an accident involving an oversized rubber band. She’s still a hot chick, but her boss is dead.

Steve Spears is a seasoned narcotics cop who ends up wanting to strangle Corny on a regular basis. After finding out Corny’s dream of opening a pet detective business, he decides he doesn’t want a girlfriend who routinely puts herself in danger. That’s his job!

Corny misses Steve, but she’s getting on with her life. She decides to get a month’s worth of dating out of the way in a single night, by combining her three favorite things—men, food, and alcohol.

Steve’s big gun and cop’s intuition saves Corny’s life, but not from another trip to the emergency room. He makes Corny promise never to get hurt again—she agreed, but has her fingers crossed behind her back.

Klutzy Love Excerpt:

I raised my salty-rimmed margarita, "Let's make a toast to Mr. Langfield; he was kind, kooky, and had poor taste in women."

"Here, here. God bless the silly romantic fool," Kitty cheered and twirled her hair around her finger.

"I second that," Brenda clinked her glass to ours and munched on chips and salsa.

After a sip from my drink my sexy-guy radar started to beep. I did a quick scan of the restaurant and spotted my target. I discreetly waved my hand above my head and said, "Target acquired... target acquired."

We laughed until we about peed our pants and then I leaned forward and quietly asked, "Do you think he heard me?" then giggled more. "I've seen my share of gorgeous men, but that guy is smok’n hot."

"Oh boy, is he ever," Kitty and Brenda said in unison and fanned their faces dramatically.

"He's been looking my way. I'm giving him my, 'you can buy me a drink' look."

All of a sudden Kitty rolled her eyes toward the bar and whispered, "Holy moly, he's coming this way."

Sure enough he made his way through the crowd on the dance floor towards our table. Before I hyperventilated from excitement, Kitty kicked me in the shin. "Thanks, I needed that." Kitty could be pretty levelheaded in stressful situations.

Welcome Passionate Cook Adrienne Davenport

Adrienne Davenport

Though I have not always possessed an extreme love for cooking, over the course of the last few years--and certain personal experiences--I have gained a true enjoyment of the art. Passionate Cream Cheese and Passion Fruit Muffins, is not only a delicious recipe, it is the recipe that started this love. While in Australia participating in the Down Under Games that took place there, I spent at least five, directly after running practice, sitting in a cafe, eating one of these scrumptious muffins, and drinking a cup of fresh, hot coffee. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do.

Passionate Cooks includes a fabulous variety of recipes, beginning with appetizers and stretching through the various genres. Besides this project, I have spent my time most recently working on a contemporary romance titled Stranger by Morning. Now available for purchase, Strange By Morning is a thrilling story filled with passion and adventure, stretched across the background of many difficult countries and settings.

When Chicago Times reporter, Reese Donavon set out for India determined to investigate the case of a nationally acclaimed felon, she'd expected a cloud of peril to eclipse her expedition. Had she known just how close t home it would linger, she would have arrived far better prepared.

Now she finds herself alone in a luxuriously appointed Hindi suite at the mercy of the very man she came to India in search of. Left with no choice but to either become his partner or risk losing her life, she readily agrees to the stranger's demands. As she follows him across oceans and countries, she finds herself slowly falling further and further under his spell. Now, as uncertain of his real motives as she is her own feelings, she discovers the greatest danger of all lies not in the fear of losing her life, but rather in the fear of losing her heart...

Passionate Cooks and Michelle Hughes

"Thank you so much for allowing me to visit your blog today.  I am so excited to be a part of Passionate Cooks! "

As a Southern Woman, I was taught to cook at an early age and food has always been a big part of our huge family gatherings.  I'm also a mother to five wonderful children, so there are those nights when I needed a quick family dinner and the recipe I've included, Steamy Stuffed Shrimp, was always one I could use when I didn't have the time I needed to prepare a full meal.  This dish is very simple, but at the same time filling.  It works well as an appetizer, and for game nights.

There are many great quick meals included in Passionate Cooks, and some incredible authors behind each recipe.  I hope you'll take the time to get to know all of them.  I'd like to talk a little more about my current project while I have your attention.  We released 10 Nights at the beginning of September and have been just been blown away by the response from readers.  Karl Jones, my co-author, has written several incredible thrillers, and I was very lucky to have him accept my offer to co-write our newest book.

In 10 Nights we follow recent college-graduate Leah on her journey of sexual discovery as she meets Rhett Hammond, Millionaire business executive.  He offers her ten nights of sexy fantasies and introduces her to a lifestyle that may challenge everything she believed herself capable of.  It's a steamy romance filled with drama and spicy love scenes.  I hope you'll take a moment to visit Amazon and pick it up.

What reviewers are saying about 10 Nights

"WOW!!! This makes Fifty Shades read like a Disney story! (Dawn)

OMG I couldn't put my kindle down. 10 nights IS what I imagine BDSM to be. And the end of the book I didn't want it to end.  (Kami)

"As much as I liked Fifty Shades, this story makes Christian and Ana's relationship seem almost....vanilla, if you will. Very intense, very gripping" (Nancy)

"Those ten nights were some of the most erotic situations I've ever read about and I admit I was shocked at how in-depth those scenes were." (Susan)

Author Comments:  10 Nights is a book that goes deeper down the rabbit hole, if you will, concerning the lifestyle of BDSM.  This book was written to garner strong emotional responses from the readers and there's very little sugar coating involved.  Rhett Hammond is the ultimate alpha male and his relationship with Leah is often overwhelming both physically and emotionally.  The premise was to take a completely uninitiated woman, not only in the lifestyle but in sexuality in general, and expose her to his world at a pace that will overwhelm her senses.

Stop by our site, Tears of Crimson, to discover more about 10 Nights and the authors at

Rhett gives Leah a crash course in passion with ten nights of some of the most popular fantasies that women have.  With those nights is his Dominant nature that combines to make them some of the most memorable scenes.  Passion, drama, and erotic romance—it's not just a promotional statement, it's what 10 Nights encompasses.
